If you have not trekked in the Mountains, you have missed the ultimate trekking experience, but if you have not trekked in to Gokyo Lake, you have missed a lifetime of journey.

Gokyo lake is  located in Khumjung Village Development Committee of Solukhumbu District in Sagarmatha Zone in north-eastern Nepal.Gokyo lake treks starts the day when you arrive Kathmandu.on 2 day you will fly to lukla and visit to Namche Bazzar through by crossing Dudhkoshi (milky) River valley. Except for crossing the Cho La pass, the trek to gokyo is mostly easy and modest. We recommend this trek for even the first time adventure lovers. The good news is that you will stumble upon a lush green valley on the way where you will get to see large flocks of yak grazing on valley.The Gokyo lake system is naturally vulnerable, as it is lying in an ecologically fragile and unstable zone.In simple terms, you will experience a completely organic lifestyle during your trek to Gokyo Lake.Once you reach your destination, you will feel excited, full of energy and interested in exploring the surrounding areas.

The trek will give a complete experience, right from self supported journey to trekking in deep Himalayas.

  • Arrival at ktm

    One of our Representative will be there to transfer you to your hotel in Kathmandu. We'll have a dinner together and final briefing about our trip.

  • Fly to Lukla (2860m) from Kathmandu (30m) trek to Phakding (2610m.)

    After having breakfast,we transfer to the Domestic Airport for the Trans Himalayan flight and  land on the hillside at Lukla: the gateway to the Everest region. We meet the local porters and walk downhill to the Chepang village of sherpa. The trail then follows the the Dudh Koshi Valley before ascending to Ghat.From here we leads up to Phakding.Overnight in phakding.

  • Trek to Namche Bazaar (3440m) 6hrs.

    Today the trek takes you on mostly gradual uphill trail along the Dudh Koshi River up to Hilary suspension bridge. From this point your first steep uphill walk on the Everest trail starts which takes you to an amazingly beautiful town of Namche, famously renowned as Namche Bazaar.

  • On the way to Namche you can enjoy the view of some the Himalayan peaks including Thamserku, Tabuche, Khumbila and many other mountains. Get yourself plungged in the beauty of local Sherpa and Buddhist culture, take in the spirituality from the prayer flags and many more just reach the final destination for today to enjoy the more stunning view of Kongde, Kusum Kangri and Thamserku.

  • Rest in Namche for acclimatization.

    Today is the first  acclimation days on our trek. To acclimate properly, we will hike to the top of the hill above Namche and  spend rest of the day exploring Namche Bazaar enjoying the local atmosphere.then return that afternoon to sleep at the lower altitude.

  • Trek from Namche to dole (4040m) 5hrs.

    Today our trail climbs up from the town and enjoy around the hillside, offering great views including Everest and Khumjung. We then walk down the lower slopes of Khumbila, branching northwest of the Everest trail and continuing to the Dudh Koshi Valley. We climbs steeply towards the tiny village of Mong La , then drops to Phortse Thenga and on up to Dole – from where we can see the marvellous views of snow capped peaks. Look out for deer, Himalayan Thars and birds – including the colourful Danphe(Nepal’s national bird).

  • Trek to Machhermo (4410m) 4hrs.

    Today we will walk to Machhermo after having delicious breakfast.After a short walk of about four hours takes us to the beautiful destination today. Explore around Machhermo once we are there.

  • Trek to Gokyo(4743m)3hrs hike to Gokyo-Ri (5320m)

    Today we begin by climbing a ridge to get an excellent view down the valley to Kangtaiga and also up towards Cho Oyu . The valley now become more wider as the trail passes through Pangkha then we descends to the riverbank before starting the steep climb onto the terminal moraine of the Ngozumpo Glacier. We pass the first of the lakes at Gokyo and continue the walk. Gokyo is a small settlement of lodges on the bank of a blue lake. In the afternoon we can walk up the hill behind camp for mesmerizing views of the Ngozumpo Glacier.

  • Descent to dole 7 hrs.

    After Breakfast We walk down on a trail along the Dudh Koshi River and pass  the Gokyo lakes. On the way to dole we  enjoy the breathtaking views of the Cholatse and Taboche peaks. The trail descends before climbing a hill. we see the great views of Thamserku, Cho Oyu, and Kangtega mountains after reaching the chorten . We walk past through Machhermo, Luza and Lhafarma villages before reaching Dole. Overnight in Dole.

  • Trek back to Namche (3440m) 6hrs.

    Today after having breakfast we trek back trek back to Namche.To reach namche we walk down on a steep trail to Phortse Thanga enjoying  rhododendrons, wildflowers and waterfalls. We also come across mountain goats, musk deer, etc.On our way to Namche the view of Taboche, Ama Dablam, Thamserku and Kangtega mountains looks magnificent. After a pleasant walk, we reach a junction where the trail from Sanasa meets our trail. After reaching Namche army camp hill, we take a  look back to see Lhotse, the tip of Everest and Tengboche for the one last time. Overnight in namche.

  • Trek to lukla 7 hrs.

    Today we trek down to lukla .We descend on a rocky trail and pass several suspension bridges. The trail becomes familiar as we walk on the same trail to reach Lukla. Our trek in the himalaya ends after we reach Lukla. We spend our time look back on about our time spent in the mountain. Overnight in Lukla.

  • Fly back to Kathmandu and day time sightseeing

    After breakfast We fly back to Kathmandu on our scheduled flight. After reaching Kathmandu we have the rest of the day off. We tour Durbar Square, Pashupatinath temple, Swayambhunath stupa and Boudhanath stupa which are all world heritage sites. We have a full day sightseeing tour around these places that will give you a good introduction to the Kathmandu Valley .In the evening, there will be a farewell dinner to enjoy with our crew member .Overnight in Kathmandu.

  • Departure to airport .

    Today you'll be transferred to the International Airport for your departure flight to your onwards destination.

    • Down jacket, Woolen shirts and thick sweaters for winter December, January & February.
    • Duffle bag or kit bag to carry to gear while trekking.
    • Daypack: toilet items, camera, film towel, soap, a boot etc.

    • 2-4 large plastic bags to separate clean clothes from dirty ones.
